Come join the MI-AWWA Young Professionals as they tour the St. Clair Water Treatment Plant in St. Clair on Thursday November 7, followed by a mixer at War Water Brewery at 4:00 pm for drinks, appetizers, and networking.
The City’s Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is a conventional water treatment plant with a rated capacity of 3.0 million gallons per day (mgd) that utilizes coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration processes. Raw water is pumped using the Shorewell Pumping Station from the St. Clair River to the WTP.
NOTE: The following are REQUIRED for the tour - hard hat, safety vest, glasses, and closed-toe shoes.
